Dahlonega Georgia Weather Forecast Update… *** Cold Continues ***

Good Wednesday morning everyone!

The cold goes on and on and on.  Not only that but folks way south of us are in the midst of a Winter storm.  Sometimes overly cold weather patterns create suppression and a winter storm will track south of us which is happening today.  Coastal areas of GA, SC, NC will get freezing rain, sleet and snow today which is rare for those places.  That storm is going to bomb out off the SE coast and track up towards the NE.

For us all this means is plenty of clouds today as we are on the outer fringe of the storm cloud area.  There is a small chance of a few snow flurries but more than likely we won’t see anything.  Then as the low departs up the east coast the winds are really going to pick up and colder air will once again move back in for your Thursday.

After this our next weather maker is late Sunday into Sunday night and will most likely be rain.

Here are the details…

Today (Wednesday)…mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a snow flurry.  High in the mid to upper 30s.

Tonight…clearing and turning breezy with a low in the upper teens.

Thursday…sunny and windy and cold with a high in the upper 20s.

Thursday night…clear and continued breezy for all and windy at higher elevations.  Low in the mid teens.

Friday…sunny and continued breezy and cold with a high near 32.

Friday night…clear with a low in the upper teens.

Saturday…sunny with a high in the upper 30s.  Lighter winds but still out of the NW.

Saturday night…partly cloudy with a low near 20.

Sunday…turning mostly cloudy during the afternoon with a high in the mid to upper 30s.

Thanks for reading!

Jason

Are you okay Jason? We usually hear from you. I literally only go off of your weather predictions… Schools are canceled and you haven’t said a word. Hope you’re okay or just making a long post.
