Snow-melt-ageddon is upon us and will intensify on Monday. After two chilly days in a row, it’s time to break out the shorts and t-shirts as we climb into the low 50s.
But don’t keep that clothing out long as winter returns on Tuesday and Wednesday in the form of 41 on Tuesday and 39 on Wednesday. Those are high temps. Fear not as sunbathing returns on Thursday as we soar into the mid 50s. Then it’s back to coats and ski parkas with 30s on Friday.
The cold weather pattern continues. Oh…and expect sunny skies each day with dry weather.
Expect really breezy days Tuesday and Friday with less breezy conditions the other days.
Thanks for reading and enjoy the snow while it’s left.
Oh oh oh…forgot….southern old wives tale is now in effect. Snow on ground for 3 days means more snow within 10. We shall see….. I’m betting not. What’s your bet?
Jason
I’m gonna say 10-12 days lol
I think we should eat all the cows that keep telling people it’s gonna snow again 🙂 starting with Vickie Darracott Kanady cows lol
Lol…
Now that’s getting to be Christmas talk. Let’s get some action going. I’ll bet $10 for 5″.
I hope no snow for a while lol
I wouldn’t write off those old Southern wives just yet. You never know!
Hahaha weather man turned bookie
Larry C. Franz
More Snow!
I’ll put my money on Jason’s prediction. None within 10 days.
I will say regarding the wives tale, we can modify since it is in Georgia to rather say it will snow again this winter. The winter solstice has not yet even happened, so maybe we will get whacked again, who knows!
Bring on the snow
Someone spoke about a white Christmas already as being hear say
LOL – a friend just told me that a friend told her it was snowing on Black Mountain a few minutes ago, and she has seen a few flurries here in town! I’m hopeing not, as I have to head to Atlanta in an hour and won’t be back until after 5 p.m.
It would be a total surprise…just a few flurries at best
Meant it wouldn’t be a total surprise…
Anymore wind gust like we had yesterday expected, Jason? We are currently living in our camper & the wind yesterday almost caused us to lose our awning. 😬
Later tonight winds could get Gusty again. Probably near 30mph at times.
Dahlonega Weather, wow. 😳 Think we’ll keep awning rolled-in for now. Thanks for the warning.
