Good Friday everyone!

The cold front has completely cleared the area now and taken all the clouds with it.   We received a total of .79 inches of rain from Monday through Thursday.  Some places received move.

Now it’s on to sunshine and cooler weather.  Even though the front has cleared the area, the center of high pressure is located way up in Michigan.  That will slide SE into the PA area over the weekend.  What that is going to due is put the high center in a decent position to create a wedge pattern on the eastern side of the apps.  The wind will shift to out of the east and strengthen a bit and colder air will invade.  Will it will be much colder at least there should be plenty of sunshine on Saturday.  Now Sunday is a different story as some low level moisture will focus across northern Georgia setting up a decent shot at having one of those days where it is chilly with plenty of drizzle and perhaps some fog.

With that in mind here is the forecast…

Today (Friday)…sunny with a high in the low 60s.

Tonight…clear with winds increasing to 10-20mph out of the east.  Low in the mid 30s.

Saturday…sunny and breezy and cool with steady east winds.  High near 49.

Saturday night…becoming cloudy late.  Low in the mid 30s.

Sunday…cloudy with drizzle likely.  High in the upper 40s.

Sunday night…clearing skies late.  Low in the low 40s.

Monday…mostly sunny with a high in the low 60s.

Monday night…clear with a low in the low 40s.

Tuesday…mostly sunny with a high in the low 60s.
